14 Days

Mikki and I were talking about the significance of the number 14 in this baby process. For everyone who was artificially inseminated, you probably already know where I'm heading with this. 14 days of waiting and monitoring for ovulation, 14 days of waiting until the missed period (aka a reliable pregnancy test), 14 extra days on the side of caution to get some comfort that the pregnancy is viable, and now 14 until our due date. Wouldn't our reproductive lives be much simplier if 14 was an actual number that we could depend on as opposed to an estimate. Just a thought ~Kelly
